Antiasthmatic medicine:
Pranlukast is a commonly used respiratory drug. It is an antiasthmatic drug and a cysteinyl leukotriene (LTs) receptor antagonist. It selectively binds to LTC4, LTD4, and LTE4 receptors to antagonize their effects. . The effects and applications are the same as those of zafirlukast. Clinically used to prevent bronchial asthma. Take 225 mg orally once, twice a day, after breakfast and dinner. Gastrointestinal reactions may occur after taking it, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or constipation. Sometimes, abnormal liver function symptoms such as fever, rash, itching, and elevated serum aminotransferase or bilirubin may be seen. Pregnant women should use with caution, and the elderly should reduce the dosage as appropriate. This product does not relieve asthma attacks that have already occurred.
